Good news and some bad.
Mom won a case she has been involved in, regarding our home with other society members, since 2002. 🙂 So that was a big reward today.
The bad news is that mom got a loose motion this evening. Hope it doesn’t happen again. She also told me that she has begun losing hair. Her scalp feels sore and slightly painful. I smiled and said, “So now we go bald – like Persis Khambatta.” 🙂 Yep, we are all Trekkies in this house. Sci-fi and Fantasy rocks, doesn’t it? 🙂 🙂

Yes….Hair will definitely start falling especially after the 2nd chemo, but the good part is after all this is over you get thicker growth of hair than before, also your nails will start turning black/blue…which also goes away.
Thank you for the heads up, Gita. We talked of wigs but I think mom would feel better with just scarves and fancy hats. 🙂 But we won’t completely rule out the option of wigs. Trouble is, we don’t get good wigs here in India.
